Check out the Cincinnati home you could win from HGTV Urban Oasis 2018

HGTV announced the HGTV Urban Oasis 2018 home is located in none other the Queen City. The 3-bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom classic Dutch Colonial home is located in Hyde Park and renovation is almost complete, according to the announcement video.

The Urban Oasis project renovates a home in a new city every year – then gives it away. Last year’s giveaway was a Craftsman home in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Dan Faires, build manager of the Cincinnati home, said remodeling the Hyde Park house was an “absolute dream.”

“The Dutch Colonial Revival style gave this home so much architectural interest and terrific curb appeal,” Faires said. “Great architectural design and a new addition opened this house up, drastically improving the layout and flow of the home, while maintaining the historic charm and original character.”

No photos of the completed home are available at this time. But the sweepstakes’ website offers photos of the house before and during construction.

Show host Egypt Sherrod described Cincinnati as the “perfect destination for outdoor enthusiasts, thrill seekers and fans of amazing local food.”

Faires said in the construction diary: “I am slightly biased, but I feel this is one of the most dramatic transformations HGTV has ever done!”

Viewers can enter the sweepstakes for the home starting Oct. 1 at 9 a.m. EST and sign up for daily reminders on the HGTV website now.
